To improve performance of uneven wear resistance while maintaining a snow/ice performance.
A pneumatic tire 1 includes, in a tread zone 2, a crown circumferential groove 3 extending on the tire equator C or in each side of the tire equator C and shoulder circumferential grooves 4 extending in either side of the crown circumferential grooves 3, which defines a middle land zone 6 and a shoulder land zone 7. The shoulder land zone 7 includes block elements 27 segmented by separately forming shoulder lateral grooves 26 the outer ends of which are connected to a tread grounding end 2t. The block elements 27 include at least smallest elements 31S, 41S having the smallest circumferential length and largest elements 31L, 41L having the largest circumferential length. The number of shoulder sipes 32A, 32B provided in the smallest elements 31S, 41S, respectively, is smaller than the number of shoulder sipes 32A, 32B provided in the largest elements 31L, 41L, respectively.
