Abstract:
To prevent a strain sensor from separating from a sensor installation hole over a long period of time.
This pneumatic tire 1 includes a tire body 10 with a concave bottomed sensor installation hole 11 opened on an outer surface 3s of sidewall rubber 3G, and a strain sensor 12 inserted into the sensor installation hole 11. A lubricant 16 for reducing friction is arranged between the sensor installation hole 11 and the strain sensor 12. A recessed part 17 for storing the lubricant 16 is arranged in a sidewall part 11s of the sensor installation hole 11 and/or a side surface 12s of the strain sensor 12.
