Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can increase an effect of decreasing rolling resistance by reducing conductive rubber for forming a conductive path of a lateral portion of the tire.SOLUTION: A carcass ply 7, which is led from a tread portion 3 through a side wall portion 2 into a bead portion 1, has joint portions formed by overlapping and joining end portions of a ply material, at a plurality of positions in the tire circumferential direction. In at least one of the joint portions, a rubber tape 30 is provided exposed on the surface of the carcass ply 7. A topping rubber and a side wall rubber 11 of the carcass ply 7 are formed of a non-conductive rubber and the rubber tape 30 is formed of a conductive rubber. In the tread portion 3, a conductive path is formed that leads from a ground contact surface contactable with a road surface to the rubber tape 30. In the bead portion 1, the conductive path is formed that leads from the outer surface of the bead portion 1 contactable with a rim to the rubber tape 30.
