Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can reduce cavernous resonance sound without worsening low-frequency road noise.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has a carcase layer consisting of a body part extending between a pair of bead parts and a wound part which is wound from the body part around a bead core embedded in the bead part. The wound part extends, in a wavy form, from the tire widest position in the tire radial direction within a range of at least ±5% of the tire cross sectional height.
