PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a tread manufactured by using a predetermined rubber composition, low fuel consumption property, wet grip property and abrasion resistance which are improved in a good balance, and excellent durability at the same time.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic tire having a tread manufactured by using a rubber composition containing an oil-extended butadiene rubber having the cis content of 95 mol% or more, the vinyl content of 1 mol% or less and a weight average molecular weight of 530,000 or more, a styrene butadiene rubber having the bound styrene amount of 30 to 50 mass% and the weight average molecular weight of 700,000 or more, silica and carbon black. The oil-extended butadiene rubber is a butadiene rubber synthesized by using a rare earth element-based catalyst, and in a solid content of rubber of 100 mass%, the content of the butadiene rubber component contained in the oil-extended butadiene rubber is 10 to 67 mass% and the content of the styrene butadiene rubber is 10 to 50 mass%.
