Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of optimizing conicity even if weight reduction and durability are made compatible with each other.SOLUTION: A side reinforcement layer 9 composed of an organic fiber cord is arranged in a carcass body part in parallel to a cord of a carcass body 5a only in a sidewall part 3a of a half part 1a on one side in the tire width direction to an equatorial surface CL, and in a tire of normal internal pressure and an unloaded state, the radial directional inner end 9a of the side reinforcement layer is positioned on the inside in the tire radial direction more than a radial directional outermost side position RO of a rim flange, and a radial directional outer end part 9b of the side reinforcement layer overlaps by 5 mm or more in the width direction with a belt 6, or a tread part 2 has one or more of circumferential directional main grooves, and in a state of applying the normal internal pressure and a maximum load, a grounding width W1 of the width directional outermost side land part 14a formed of the one or more of circumferential directional main grooves and the one side tread end, is larger than a grounding width W2 of the width directional outermost side land part 14b formed of the circumferential directional main grooves and the other side tread end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
