Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which can reduce load dependency of cornering force while maintaining high cornering force.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a belt 4 formed of two inclination belt layers 4a, 4b intersecting each other between the layers. When the tire is mounted on an application rim, is filled to a specified internal pressure, and has no load, the two inclination belt layers have different widths in a tire width direction. When the width in the tire width direction of the one wider inclination belt layer is W1 and the width in the tire width direction of the other inclination belt layer is W2, a ratio W2/W1 satisfies a relational expression 0.25≤(W2/W1)≤0.8. In addition, when a distance in a tire diameter direction between a tread end TE of the pneumatic tire and a tread surface 5a on a tire equator surface CL is d and a tread width of the pneumatic tire is TW at a cross section in the tire width direction of the pneumatic tire in the above state, a ratio d/TW is 0.09 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
