Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enabling a vehicle driver to easily recognize the limit of a tire gripping force.SOLUTION: The tread pattern of the pneumatic tire has, in the region of the tire width direction outside of the ground end position of the tire width direction of the ground end of the tire width direction, a peripheral direction thin groove narrow in groove width and making a round on a tire periphery, and a lateral groove group having a plurality of lateral grooves having a starting end in a region between the ground end position of the tire width direction and the peripheral direction thin groove and arranged in the tire peripheral direction to extend in the tire width direction and cross the peripheral direction thin groove at a non-orthogonal angle. The tread rubber of the tread part varies in type with a position, separated from the ground end position along the tire width direction by 5 to 30% of a tire width direction distance between the ground end position and the design end of the tread pattern in the tread outside region, set as a boundary, and 60°Ctanδ of second tread rubber in the tire width direction outside of the boundary is lower than that of first tread rubber inside thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
