Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a snow road performance and a wet performance while maintaining an uneven wear resistant performance.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire 1 for heavy load, a middle block 15 of hexagonal treads arranged in the tire circumferential direction is formed on a tread part 2. Middle main grooves 4 contain middle main groove straight line areas 11 continuing to a tire circumferential direction within the middle main groove 4 in parallel to the tire circumferential direction without coming into contact with groove edges 4e of both sides of the middle main grooves 4. Shoulder main grooves 3 contain shoulder main groove straight line areas 10 continuing to the tire circumferential direction within the shoulder main groove in parallel to the tire circumferential direction without coming into contact with groove edges 3e of both sides of the shoulder main grooves 3. A width Wb in the tire axial direction of the shoulder main groove straight line areas 11 is smaller than a width Wa in the tire axial direction of the shoulder main groove straight line areas 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
