Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 2 achieving improvement in steering stability and in ride comfort while suppressing deterioration in abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire 2, a band 32 comprises a first main body 62 positioned near a first end PT1 and a second main body 64 positioned near a second end PT2. The first main body 62 includes a first cord 72 made from organic fiber. The second main body 64 is made from a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. A rim 4 for the tire 2 comprises a first sheet 82a to which is fitted the part of a first bead 14a and a second sheet 82b to which is fitted the part of a second bead 14b. When a rim diameter of the rim 4 in the first sheet 82a is designated as a first rim diameter and a rim diameter of the rim 4 in the second sheet 82b is designated as a second rim diameter, a nominal D2 of the second rim diameter in the tire 2 is larger than a nominal D1 of the first rim diameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
