Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which achieves both rolling resistance and wet performance of a tire, and satisfies operation stability on a snow surface.SOLUTION: A composition used for a central zone 20 and side zones 18a and 18b of an outer cap layer 12 is approximately 50 to approximately 90 phr of a solution polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber based on an elastomer, and is a solution polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber that has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -65°C to -55°C and is functionalized with at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an alkoxysilane group, first amine and thiol and approximately 50-approximately 10 phr of polybutadiene, and includes a combination of polybutadiene having cis-1,4 content exceeding 95% and having Tg of -80 to -110°C, 100-180 phr of precipitated silica, 30-80 phr of a resin having at least Tg of 30°C and oil. Blending ratios of the resin and the oil are different from each other in the central zone and the side zones.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
