Abstract:
PURPOSE: To restrain the disturbance of cords in a belt layer by hardly reducing the cross-sectional area of an annular recess in filling the internal pressure in a tire formed in the crown part with the annular recess having the width.
CONSTITUTION: Since the widthwise inner ends of reinforcing layers 47, 48 having a narrow width are spaced from both sides of the deepest part 44 of an annular recess 41, the tension of cords in overlapping belt layers 29 near the deepest part 44 is maintained at a certain degree of value, overlapping cords in the reinforcing layers 47, 48 are few and difficult to be deformed due to the restriction of both side cords so that the disturbance of the cords is restrained. Also, since the reinforcing layers 47, 48 are disposed in regions 54, 55 including inflection points J, K, the circumferential rigidity of the regions 54, 55 is improved in filling the internal pressure and the cross-sectional area of the annular recess 41 is not so much reduced.
