Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the flexure of a belt layer in a tire formed in the crown part with an annular recess having the wide width by hardly reducing the cross- sectional area of the annular recess in filling the internal pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Since the thermal contraction rate of cords located near inflection points J, K in a reinforcing layer 43 is enlarged, large tension is generated only in the cords during vulcanization molding and remains even after the vulcanization. Thus, when a tire 11 is filled with the internal pressure, only cords having large remaining tension get difficult to extend so that the circumferential rigidity is improved and the bulging of the annular recess 35 is restrained to a practical value. Also, since the reinforcing layer 43 covers a belt layer 29 over the whole width, an amount of the belt layer 29 thrusted in is uniformed as a whole to reduce the flexure.
