Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a tire weight and increase a bead durability by forming a bead apex with a base part and a separation prevention layer made of rubbers with specified heights, JIS hardnesses A, and complex moduli of elasticity E*, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: A bead apex 8 positioned between a main body 9A and curl part 9B of an inner carcuss play 9 is formed with a base part 12 of hard rubber and a separation prevention layer 13 of soft rubber. The base part 12 is so formed that a height HA from a bead base line L is 0.25 to 0.50 times the tire section height H, JIS hardness is 70 to 90°, and complex modulus of elasticity E* is 250 to 320kgf/cm2. Also the separation prevention layer 13 is so formed that, a height HB from the bead base line L is larger than the flange height HF of a rim R, thickness T is 0.5 to 1.5mm, JIS hardness A is 50 to 60°, and complex modulus of elasticity E* is 35 to 50kgf/cm2. Thus a tire weight can be reduced, and occurrence of loose between the carcuss and bead apex can be prevented to increase the durability of bead.
