Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire belt part with an excellent uniformity and high-speed durability by allowing a vulcanized tire to exhibit a high tensile elastic modulus while allowing it to easily follow a lift during tire vulcanization, without causing an increase in tire weight.
SOLUTION: A plurality of primary twist yarn A (8a, 8a'), each comprising high-elastic-modulus organic fiber filaments fh with a tensile elastic modulus of 300g/d or higher and heat contraction organic fiber filaments fs, both of which are paralleled and twisted, are paralleled. Either a complex cord 8 formed by final twist in the opposite direction to twisting of the primary twist yarn A or at least one of the primary twist yarn A (8a, 8a'), and at least one primary twist B (8b) formed by paralleling high-elastic-modulus organic-fiber filaments with a tensile elastic modulus of 300g/d or higher and twisting them in the same direction as the primary twist yarn A are paralleled. The complex cord 8 formed by final twist in the opposite direction to twisting of the primary twist yarn A, B is made to continuously circle the side of the tread outside a carcass layer while being approximately parallel to the tire circumferential direction, thus forming a reinforcement layer.
