Title:
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3652809
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire provided with a mark with angle, shaped and cross section, which are liable to leap out at the eye and are provided with a brand, species, letters, numbers, symbols or figures, which improve visuality regardless of the shape of the tire.
SOLUTION: An outer surface contour 13 in the radial direction of a tire is a straight line, and the distance from the surface of a side wall 10 to the outer surface contour 13 of a solid letter 'T' 12 is made large (H1) in the outer peripheral side and made small (H2) in inner peripheral side. That is, since the letter 12 has the particular shape of its cross section without being seized with the shape of the cross section of the wall 10, and the height is not constant, the visuality is superior to that of conventional pneumatic tireswhich has a constant height. Therefore, the solid letter 12 has an angle and a cross section shape that is liable to leap out at the eye without being affected with the shape of the tire 14 and becomes prominent, and the visuality of the letter is improved when looked down with the tire 14 secured to a vehicle.
