Abstract:

To provide a tire with less rolling resistance without sacrificing the other performance.

When tire cross section height is made to be SH and a distance of a linear line passing through a tire maximum width position and a linear line passing through a bead toe is made to be SWh, SWh/SH is 0.5 or more. In the tire width direction cross section, a point where a linear line of an equal distance to both of a linear line L1passing through the outermost end in a radial direction of a carcass 2 and a linear line L2passing through the outermost end in a tire radial direction of a bead core 1 is crossed to the carcass 2 is made to I1, a point where a linear line passing through an end of an inclination belt layer 3a of the narrowest width and perpendicular to a rotation axis of the tire is crossed to the carcass 2 is made to I2, and a point where the linear line L2is crossed to the carcass 2 is made to I3. Route length CSR1of the carcass 2 from the intersection I1to the intersection I2is longer than route length CSR2of the carcass from the intersection I1to the intersection I3. A recession/projection with high surface roughness is provided at an area of a tire outer surface from a tire width direction position corresponding to the end of the inclination belt layer 3a to the tire radial direction position corresponding to the maximum width position of the tire.
