Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a pneumatic tire remarkably improved in abrasion resistance by using a rubber composition consisting essentially of high-trans polybutadiene rubber in a ground contact part of a tread part. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire obtained by using a rubber composition prepared by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. rubber component composed of (A1) 0-25 pts.wt. isoprene-based rubber with >=70wt.% isoprene units and (A2) 100-75 pts.wt. high-trans polybutadiene rubber, having >=250000 weight-average molecular weight and 1.2-1.9 molecular weight distribution and containing 75-90wt.% 1,4-trans bond units with (B) 40-80 pts.wt. carbon black having preferably 110-160m<2>/g nitrogen adsorption specific surface area and 80-130ml/100g compressed DBP oil absorption and, as necessary, a softener (e.g. aromatic oil), antioxidant, vulcanization accelerator, etc., in a ground contact part of a tread part.
