PURPOSE: To restrict the change in tread radius to improve the travelling performance by restraining the amount of lifting of the crown part of a tread in relation to the amount of lifting of the shoulder part.
CONSTITUTION: A radial tire 1 is provided with a belt layer 8 consisting of two layers of belts 81, 82 arranged on the outside of a carcass 7 in the inside of a tread 2, and the belts 81, 82 are formed respectively by burying belt cords formed of plural steels in a topping rubber. The value of complex modulus of elasticity E* of the topping rubber is different between the crown part Cr and the shoulder part Sh, and the complex modulus of elasticity ShE* of the shoulder part Sh is set greater than the complex modulus of elasticity CrE* of the crown part Cr. The difference must be 20kg/cm2 or more in the measuring condition where the temperature is 70°C, initial distortion is 10%, dynamic distortion is 2%, by using a viscoelasticity-spectrometer manufactured by IWAMOTO factory.
