Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire capable of preventing occurrence of appearance defect in a side wall part resulting from the splice part of a carcass layer.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises: a tread part 1 extending in a tire circumferential direction to form an annular state; a pair of side wall parts 2 disposed at both sides of the tread part 1; and a pair of bead parts 3 disposed inside the side wall parts 2 in a tire radial direction. In the pneumatic tire, a carcass layer 4 is bridged between the pair of bead parts 3; a side wall rubber layer 12 is disposed outside the carcass layer 4 in the side wall part 2; and the carcass layer 4 has a splice part in a part in a tire circumferential direction. A low hardness rubber layer 20 is arranged between the splice part of the carcass layer 4 and the side wall rubber layer 12. The JIS hardness of the low hardness rubber layer 20 is lower than that of the side wall rubber layer 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
