Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 12 capable of achieving reduction in road noise while maintaining durability in a run-flat traveling.SOLUTION: In a tire 12, an outside end PA of an apex 44 is located further inside than an outside end LS of a clinch 18. A loss tangent value Tk of a buffer layer 32 is smaller than a loss tangent value Tc of the clinch 18. A hardness Hk of the buffer layer 32 is lower than a hardness Hc of the clinch 18. The buffer layer 32 overlaps each of a first point P1 and a second point P2 in a radial direction. A contour of an outside surface SF extending from a maximum width position WX to a position CE corresponding to an outside end of a contact surface between the tire 12 and a ground surface is represented by a single arc having a radius between 50 and 60 mm. A position TS where a support layer 30 has a maximum thickness ti is located further inside than the position WX.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
