Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 2 capable of achieving enhancement in riding comfort and durability in a run-flat traveling.SOLUTION: In a tire 2, a length of an apex 38 is 20 mm or less. A buffer layer 24 is located between a carcass 12 and a clinch 8 in an axial direction. A position of an inside end 48 of the buffer layer 24 corresponds to a position of an outside end 50 of a core 36 in a radial direction. Alternatively, the position of an inside end 48 of the buffer layer 24 is located further outside than the outside end 50 of the core 36. An outside end 52 of the buffer 24 is located close to the outside end 34 of the clinch 8 in the radial direction. The buffer layer 50 is arranged to cover a part where the tire 2 and a rim R contact with each other. A loss tangent value of a buffer layer 24 is smaller than a loss tangent value of the clinch 8. A hardness of the buffer layer 24 is lower than a hardness of the clinch 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
