Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic unloader capable of preventing a collision between a hatch of a ship as a cargo handling object, and a vertical expansion pipe.SOLUTION: A pneumatic unloader includes: a horizontal expansion pipe 20 supported by a boom 16; a cylinder joint 22 for connecting a vent pipe 21 on the tip of the horizontal expansion pipe 20 with a vertical expansion pipe 23; and a vertical nozzle 24 provided on the tip of the vertical expansion pipe 23. Furthermore, the pneumatic unloader includes: a sensor holding frame 55 which is provided at a vertical expansion pipe side of the cylindrical joint 22, always holds a horizontal position, and is formed so as to surround the upper end outer periphery of the vertical expansion pipe 23; obstacle detection sensors 56 which are provided at the four corners of the sensor holding frame 55 to measure a distance to a reflection object directly below each sensor; and an obstacle detection sensor 66 which detects an obstacle on the basis of distance measuring data from each of the obstacle detection sensors 56, and a tip distance of the vertical nozzle 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
