PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pocketbook openable/closable easily even by a person having a handicap in a hand or an arm.SOLUTION: In a pocketbook including a currency housing part having an opening for housing a currency or taking out the currency therethrough, and a lid part having a base end linked to one end side of the currency housing part, for covering the opening by being folded to the opening side, the end of a string-like member is attached to the tip side of the lid part, and an insertion part through which the string-like member is inserted is provided on the other end side of the currency housing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
