Abstract:
To provide a device which efficiently reduces a point group.SOLUTION: A thinning-out unit 111 executes a first method to a fifth method. The first method thins out a portion of a point group on the basis of a measurement-time speed of a measurement vehicle 400 when each point is measured from the point group measured with a laser scanner mounted on the measurement vehicle 400. The second method thins out a portion of the point group on the basis of a laser distance between each point and the laser scanner when each of the plural points is measured. The third method thins out a portion of the plural points when the plural points exist in each of one or more unit regions of the plurality of unit regions by applying an entire region model consisting of the plurality of unit regions to the point group. The fourth method thins out at least a portion of the point group indicating a feature according to a type of the feature when the point group indicates the feature. The fifth method thins out a portion of the point group on the basis of a distribution state of other point groups consisting of the plural points measured with another laser scanner mounted on another measurement vehicle from the point group and to be connected to the point group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
