To provide a system that enables even a type of business without a store and the like and a type of business incapable of creating a customer list in advance to provide a point service by targeting a service point system on each line of merchandise, and enables a customer to receive a point service without limitations by a store of purchase and the like by dispensing with carrying of a dedicated card for point accumulation and the like.
An individual piece of merchandise is sold with the attachment or the like of an identification number as an object of a point service. After purchasing the merchandise, a customer transmits the identification number to the seller from a portable telephone, a portable terminal or a personal computer terminal. The seller creates a customer list using an electronic mail address as an identification basis. By awarding the point service on the customer list, even a type of business without a store and the like and a type of business incapable of creating a customer list in advance can provide the point service. The customer does not need to carry a dedicated card for point accumulation and can thus receive the point service without limitations by the store of purchase and the like.
