Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent stoppage of a pointer in an unnatural state by delaying start-up of a standby mode of a starting part until an output value outputted from a current position output part becomes 0, when a specified switch turns from ON to OFF.
CONSTITUTION: When an ignition switch turns ON, a starting part 17 starts a normal mode and set an operation in motion. A drive pulse delivering part 16 stands by until a count value of a counter counting a prescribed time of a clock part 15 and repeating the count becomes 0, and when the prescribed time passes, it calculates a difference between an indication position calculated by an indication position calculating part 14 and a current indication position outputted by a current position output part 13 and indicated by a pointer. The drive pulse delivering part 16 calculates the number of drive pulses to be delivered for the difference and delivers the drive pulses to a step motor 10 through an interface 20. When the starting part 17 determines that the ignition switch is OFF, a delay part 18 delays start-up of a standby mode of the starting part 17 until an output value from the current position output part 13 becomes 0.
