Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer type instrument capable of improving a vibration resistance even if the pointer is a shape meandering many times.SOLUTION: The pointer type instrument comprises: a display 1; a display board 2 having index parts 211, 221 and surrounding a periphery of the display 1, in which the display 1 is arranged to be visible; a driving device 6 arranged at a rear of the display 1, in which a pointer shaft 61 projects to a side of the display 1; and a pointer 7 connected to the pointer shaft 61 and indicating an index part 2 by revolving around the pointer shaft 61 as the center of rotation. The pointer 7 has a first to fifth body parts 711 to 715 and a translucent body part 71 having a first to a third bent parts 74 to 76. In the pointer type instrument, a reinforcement cover 72 consists of a single member is arranged to continuously cover at least the first, second, third, and fourth of the body parts 711 to 714 of the body part 71, and the reinforcement cover 72 consists of a material whose comparative strength is greater than a material consisting of the body part 71.
