PURPOSE: To enable an operation compatible to human feelings by providing a pressure sensor and a signal processing means and moving a cursor while pressing a part corresponding to the desired moving direction of the cursor with strength corresponding to a desired moving amount.

CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensor 6 is provided to measure and output flat pressure distribution, and a signal processing means 7 is provided to decide the moving direction and moving amount of a moving object corresponding to the position of the pressure distribution and the strength of the pressure according to an output signal from this sensor 6. The operator pushes the place on the device corresponding to the desired moving direction of the cursor with the pressure having the strength corresponding to the desired moving amount. At that time, the pressure distribution is outputted by the pressure sensor 6, and further, the signal processing means 7 decides the moving direction and moving amount of the cursor corresponding to the pressure distribution so as to move the moving object corresponding to the amount. Thus, the operation is enabled compatible to the human feeling.
