To obtain the subject poison bait agent which is improved in the taste for noxious insect, particularly cockroach by formulating a sesame lees powder thereto.

This poison bait agent is obtained by formulating at least one kind selected from the group comprising (A) an insecticidal active ingredient (e.g. 5-benzyl-3-furylmethyl chrysanthemate and the like), (B) a sesame lees powder (a dry powder of the residue obtained by squeezing the sesame oil out of sesame seeds), (C) (i) a seasoning sauce or (ii) a sauce flavor and/or (D) an oil and a fat (e.g. soybean oil and the like) and/or (E) a grain powder, starch, dextrin and sugar. It is preferable to formulate the components A, Bi, Bii, D and E in amounts of 0.05-10 wt.%, 1-20 wt.%, 0.01-2 wt.%, 3-45 wt.% and 40-85 wt.%, respectively, in this poison bait agent.
