Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of an exhaust gas value in a vehicle running by swiftly carrying out removal treatment of poisoning at an appropriate timing when an inlet end face of a catalyst into which gas exhausted from an internal combustion engine flows is poisoned.SOLUTION: An ECU changes a reference value into a reference value which allows easier determination of poisoning as usage of a catalyst in a temperature equal to or less than a predetermined low temperature gets longer, determines, on the basis of the changed reference value, whether or not the purification means is poisoned, and removes the poisoning when determined as poisoned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
