Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide arc erasure which is usable together with a circuit interrupter.SOLUTION: A circuit interrupter includes an arc-extinguishing part which functions so as to capture arc between contacts regardless of polarity of the contact. The circuit interrupter includes one or a plurality of permanent magnets which are constituted so as to drive arc to the arc-extinguishing part. The arc-extinguishing part can include two arc routes, each of which includes an arc split plate. The two arc routes may be adjacent to each other and each of them may extend in the parallel direction. The arc route may not be adjacent to each other as alternative, and each of them may extend in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
