Abstract:
To provide a polarization film having a high aspect ratio, excellent in a restrictive effect of traversal crack initiation in a parallel direction to an absorption axis of a polarization film under a high temperature environment.SOLUTION: In a polarization film, a transparent protective film is laminated on one side or both sides of a polarization membrane. The polarization membrane includes water soluble radical scavenger, and satisfies a condition of a ratio of lengths expressed by a general expression (X): 2.0≤a/b (in the general expression (X), a denotes a parallel length (mm) to an absorption axis of the polarization membrane and exceeds 200, and b denotes an orthogonal length (mm) to an absorption axis of the polarization membrane).SELECTED DRAWING: None
