Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PV vector measurement device capable of measuring a target PV vector.SOLUTION: The PV vector measurement device includes: a light source 101 for outputting probe light for measurement; a polarization converter 102; a polarimeter 104; and a PV vector calculation device 105. The polarization converter operates the polarization state of the probe light for measurement. The output light from the polarization converter is input to a measuring object 103. The polarimeter measures the time dependency of a polarization state vector of the output light output from the measuring object. The PV vector calculation device calculates an eigen vector indicating the polarization variation velocity of the measuring object on the basis of the time dependency of the polarization state vector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
