Title:
POLARIZED SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015219488
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polarized spectacles which can exert proper polarization performance uniformly by suppressing uneven tightening force and twisting from occurring partially from a rim of a spectacle frame to a peripheral part of a polarized lens and by avoiding the polarized lens from receiving strain from the spectacle frame.SOLUTION: Provided are polarized spectacles in which: a polarized lens 1 for spectacles is provided with, on an outer peripheral surface 2 thereof, a projection 3 which protrudes in a radial direction and extends along a peripheral direction of the polarized lens 1, and the projection 3 is fitted in a rim groove 5 formed in an inner peripheral surface 4a of a spectacle frame F, and thereby the spectacle frame F and the polarized lens 1 are integrally formed. The projection 3 is formed in a square column shape, and also the rim groove 5 is formed in a square groove shape. Further, four curved parts 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d are respectively provided with non-fitted parts in which the projection 3 and the rim groove 5 oppose to each other with a gap provided therebetween. The polarized lens 1, 8 does not easily come off from the rim groove 5, 10 of the frame F and is stably held in the frame F. Tightening force is suppressed in the curved parts, and in the polarized lens, local stress concentration is avoided.
