Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film that can reduce light unevenness on a display surface and has Rth excellent in humidity and heat durability in a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical film that includes a condensate of polyalcohol having an average carbon number of 2.01 or more and polybasic acid having an average carbon number of 4.10 or more, and cellulose ester, where at least one polyalcohol constituting the condensate has a configuration in which three or more carbon atoms are continuously bonded without interposition of other elements, and the content of the condensate is 30 mass% or more relative to the cellulose ester.
