Abstract:
To provide a polarizing plate protective film that uses a cellulose ester film which suppresses variation in retardation value due to variations in humidity and will not cause unevenness in contrast, a method for manufacturing the same, a polarizing plate using the polarizing plate protective film and giving stable display quality, and a liquid crystal display.
The polarizing plate protective film comprises a styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer and a cellulose ester.
