Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the reflection or projection by interior light and also eliminate the bluish coloring by reflection of double-layer Cr to improve the color display performance by providing a transmittance regulating layer between a reflection preventing layer and a polarizing plate.
SOLUTION: A transmittance regulating layer is provided between a polarizing plate 13 and a reflection preventing layer 16. Namely, the transmittance regulating layer is formed by successively laminating a hard coat layer 14a regulated in transmittance, a light diffusing layer 15, and the reflection preventing layer 16 on the polarizing plate 13, or successively laminating a hard coat layer 14, a light diffusing layer 15a regulated in transmittance, and the reflection preventing layer 16 thereon. A coloring agent is selected so that the spectral transmittance of the transmittance regulating layer is 80% or more in a wavelength of 460-610nm and 50% or less in a wavelength of 440nm or less, and the addition quantity is regulated. The reflectance of an external light having a wavelength of 450nm resulted from the reflecting characteristic of a double-layer Cr film can be reduced to 4% or less, the bluish coloring caused by the reflection of the double-layer Cr film is eliminated, and excellent color display performance can be exhibited.
