This pole feeding mechanism is one that feeds a work 9 by movement of a first feeding pole 1 and a second one 2 by projecting claws 10, 20 respectively from the first and second feeding poles 1, 2 arranged in parallel and clamping the work 9 between the both claws 10, 20. The first feeding pole 1 and the second feeding pole 2 are separately supported free to slide. A fixing position for the feeding poles of one of a stopper 12 provided on the first feeding pole 1 and a stopper 22 provided on the second feeding pole 2 is made variable, and a spacer to provide an interval of the aforementioned both claws 10, 20 is interposed between the aforementioned both stoppers 12, 22. It is possible to change the interval between the claws 10, 20 only by changing the fixing position of the one stopper to the feeding poles.
