To erect a pole of a protective fence such as a pedestrian/automobile fence for preventing a pedestrian or an automobile from dropping out of a road or onto a roadway at a place where curbs are used for a sidewalk-roadway boundary and for preventing traversing or the like on the roadway, to improve constructiveness in using sidewalk-roadway boundary blocks as curbs, to enhance safety management and to construct the post foundation block at low cost.
A foundation block body 1 is comprised of a sidewalk-roadway boundary block part 1B disposed at an upper side of a cross section and a foundation part 1A disposed at a lower side of the sidewalk-roadway boundary block part. On an upper surface of the foundation block body, a pole insertion hole 4 is provided into which a pole 3 of a protective fence 2 can be inserted. At a lower side of a front face of the foundation block body opposed to a roadway side R, a perpendicular surface part 5 is formed. At another side of a rear face of the foundation block body, in a lower half portion excluding at least a height h1 of the sidewalk-roadway boundary block part, a substitute side foundation protrusion part 6 is formed.
