Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform simply operations of installing and holding each contact pin on a pole retaining member of a connector called D type sub-connector.
CONSTITUTION: A pole retaining member formed from a plastic material is composed of a main part 3c in the form of a cylinder with bottom and a core 3d to be fitted in the cavity of the main part. At the periphery of this core 3d, pole piece holding holes 30... to hold contact pins 1... are provided in the form of U-groove 35 approximately where the cleavage at the side opens at the peripheral surface of the core 3d, and the main part 3c is equipped at the bottom wall with pole piece holding holes 30... which admit penetration of the tip of each contact pin 1.
