Title:
POLE STRUCTURE USING FERRITE MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58186358
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a crack due to a stress which is produced in a ferrite magnet by forming a local small mechanical strength part in a yoke plate of pole structure in which the magnet and the yoke plate are bonded. CONSTITUTION:A rotary electric machine 10 is composed of a rotor 12 and a stator pole unit 14 formed around the rotor, and the pole unit 14 is composed of a yoke plate 18 bonded to a ferrite magnet 16. Notches 20 are formed in all width of the plate 18 in the axial direction of the rotor, local weak mechanical part is formed at the position of the notch 20 of the plate 18, and the stress distribution in the magnet 16 is reduced at the part corresponding to the notch 20, thereby eliminating the concentration of the stress distribution. Accordingly, the crack of the magnet 16 can be prevented.
