PURPOSE: To polish a tooth without damaging the enamel of a tooth, etc., by blending silicone rubber with a specified filler.
CONSTITUTION: A desired dressing tool is obtained by inserting and bonding a polishing body 1 into a stick-shaped handle 2 with a concavity 3 for fingers. At least one powder of cilica and cilicate compound powders whose particle size is in a range of 1W8μm, corresponding to 50% underside, is mixed and blended with silicone rubber forming the polishing body 1 as a filler. By blending the filler, sufficient hardness for practical use is given to the polishing body 1, the compatibility of the filler with the silicone rubber is improved, and the possibility of filler precipitation on the surface of the polishing body 1 during polishing of the tooth face is eliminated. Further, the durability of the polishing body 1 is improved, and the tooth face can be polished without damaging the enamel.
