To provide a polishing device capable of easily and precisely polishing a knife edge of a blade of a pair of scissors bent three-dimensionally by hand work and performing it in simple constitution.
This polishing device 6 is furnished with a polishing body 10 connected on a guide surface 8 of a stationary side member 7 free to move outward B and inward C toward one direction A and a stopper 11 to prevent the outward movement B of the blade 2 to a knife edge surface 4a of which is surface-connected with the polishing body 10. A stopper surface 34 to surface-connect a knife edge back surface 4b free to slide is formed on the stopper 11, and a crossing angle made by the polishing surface 9 and the stopper surface 34 is made to match to a knife edge angle θ1 made by the knife edge surface 4a and the knife edge back surface 4b.
