This cover is provided with a cylindrical cover main body 29 having opened upper surface and lower surface and an inner diameter larger than that of a polishing part of the hand grinder 5, a window part 31 made of a visible material provided to close the upper surface of the cover main body 29 and an opening part 35 for inserting the electrode rod for welding formed on a peripheral surface of the cover main body 29. The cover main body 29 is fixed to the hand grinder 5 by bringing an abutting surface 41 of an inner flange part 39 of the cover main body 29 into pressure contact with a peripheral end face 16 of an exclusive cover 15 by fastening a female screw part 49 of the cover main body 29 with a plus screw 51.
