To provide a polishing pad, which is a tool for polishing metal substituting for a wire brush, and preferably used especially for a welded part of steel, and a polishing tool using it.
This polishing pad is formed of a substantially plate-like non-woven formed body made by dispersing abrasive particles in a non-woven fabric of polymer to have a desired thickness, and one of the edge end parts of the formed body is taken as a polishing part. This type of polishing pad is assembled in holder composed of a clip for grasping the other edges of the formed body, a grip for holding and a grip receiving part provided on the forward end of the grip to removably receive the clip, thereby forming the polishing pad tool, which is manually operated to perform polishing.
