To provide a polishing tool that can polish optical glass so as to ensure excellent surface accuracy for a long time while preventing scratches and fixation of foreign matters, a polishing tool producing method and a polishing method.SOLUTION: A polishing tool for optical glass 10 is formed by combining multiple abrasives 11 with abrasive grains 12 coated by resin 13, includes pores, and has an abrasive grain volume rate of 50-85%, a resin volume rate of 15-50%, and a pore volume rate of 20% or less.
