PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of facilitating reduction of rotational torque of a tapered roller bearing.SOLUTION: A grinding method for tapered roller comprises rotatably arranging multiple tapered rollers 4 between an inner diameter side inclined surface part 15 of a tapered roller grinding tool 14, and an outer diameter side inclined surface part 26 of an outer diameter side member 25 in a state of being held with a retainer 5a. A larger diameter side end surface 10 of the tapered roller 4 is ground by the tapered roller grinding tool 14 rotating relatively to the outer diameter side member 25 with an axial pressure applied to the tapered roller 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
