Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide composition useful especially for electronic and electric component applications of casing or the like of portable terminal devices such as a mobile personal computer, a tablet and a mobile phone or electric component applications of automobile electrical components or the like, since it is especially excellent in white color tone necessary for an exterior component and excellent in ultraviolet deterioration resistance, impact resistance, mechanical strength and electrical insulation property.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyarylene sulfide composition containing 100 pts.wt. of polyarylene sulfide (A) and at least 5 to 25 pts.wt. of synthetic zeolite (Zeolum(R)) powder (B), 5 to 30 pts.wt. of titanium oxide (C) coated with two or more kind of hydration compounds of elements selected from aluminum, silicon, zirconium, antimony and tin and one or more kind of organic compound selected from a group consisting of polyols, organic silicon compounds, alkanol amines, higher aliphatic acids and higher hydrocarbons, 15 to 40 pts.wt. of an ethylenic copolymer (D), 15 to 65 pts.wt. of a glass fiber (E), 0.03 to 2 pts.wt. of a blue coloring agent (E) and 0.1 to 5 pts.wt. of a violet coloring agent (F).SELECTED DRAWING: None
