Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene oligomer to be used in applications of electronics industries; and to provide a method for forming a dielectric material layer.SOLUTION: A polyarylene polymer comprises as polymerization units: one or more first monomer expressed by formula (1); and one or more second monomer comprising two cyclopentadienones. A composition comprises the polyarylene polymer and an organic solvent. A method for forming a dielectric material layer comprises the steps of: arranging a layer of the composition; removing the organic solvent; and curing the polymer to form the dielectric material layer. (Arand Arare each independently Caryl; R is each independently H or an optionally substituted Caryl; Ris each independently -OH, Chydroxyalkyl, etheralkyl, amidealkyl, -NO, or the like; and Ris each independently Calkyl, Chaloalkyl, Chydroxyalkyl, CN, or the like).SELECTED DRAWING: None
